Happy New Year and all that jazz.

Well, the plague seems to have finally run its course for the most part. After a round of antibiotics, I finally began to feel like my old self. However, after the antibiotics cleared out of my system, the old tickle, phlegm and cough came back, though not as forcefully. As of today, the bug is hanging on, but I feel that it’s on its way out.

My wife continues to run a daily fever. The CT scan was negative as has been numerous tests. Her blood cell counts are low, white cells particularly. The one shining light is that her 100.x° fever is now 99.x°. It’s a progress of sorts. We’re still watching her for any other untoward health signs.

My son is much better. His ear infection and tonsilitis has cleared up after round of nasty smelling antibiotic liquid. He wasn’t happy with it, but he took it like a champ.

Now that most of the health issues are clearing up, I can go back to work on some of my projects.
