Everyone is still sick. My wife has had a 100° fever for a few weeks now. The doctors have no idea what is wrong with her. It could be a virus; it could be anything. Last night we went to have her sinuses checked with a CT scan. She’s already gone through two rounds of antibiotics. No luck.

On top of all that, her car decided to throw a wrench into our plans. On our way to the hospital for the CT scan, the ‘check engine’ light came on. Last time my wife drove with such a light on, her engine seized. So, back home we went to change cars. Now, I have to take it to be serviced tomorrow morning, in the wake of an ice storm.

So, after blood and urine tests and a CT scan, we have to wait to see what the doctor proposes next. I hate waiting.
