So begins my theme design work. I like the colors and imagery, but the columns are too narrow. I also dislike the sidebar layout. I’m leaning towards something more dynamic and interactive. More to come…

Update: For a first draft w/o any Javascript support, I like it. I wanted the “thought stream” binary strings inside the maroon box as top and bottom borders which would be covered by the site graphic. It was not to be, however. Well, actually, it was to be on Firefox and Opera. IE barfed, as is its usual work ethic. So, another design idea goes kersplat because of IE’s failure to adhere to W3C standards.

In spite of that, though, the alternative isn’t too shabby.
